SMOKE GENERATORS
CSS manufactures our own range of electrically initiated low-toxic smoke generators. The range includes low, medium and high volume smoke outputs. Designed for applications such as signalling, screening, ventilation and airflow testing as well as training purposes for military, fire and emergency services or for special effects for the entertainment industry. |

BLACK POWDERS
CSS is the exclusive agent in Australia and New Zealand for the Wano range of Black Powders. Black Powder is an explosive which needs only very little confinement to accelerate ignition to blast. This makes Black Powder an ideal raw material especially for pyrotechnics but is used for blasting in agricultural and mining industries, fireworks and special effects and is also used by Sporting Shooters. |

BATTLE EFFECT SIMULATORS (BESS)
The purpose of the CSS manufactured BESS range of pyrotechnics is to simulate the terminal effects of rapid and single fire guns, artillery and mortars, grenades, mines and other anti personnel weapons, and the muzzle effects of small arms in the field training environment by using remote electrical ignition. BESS pyrotechnics provide both visual and audible effects that are used to enhance realism during training exercises and demonstrations to simulate a live battle field. BESS pyrotechnics are used by Military, Police and Security Services for training applications, including damage control exercises, target detection and indication and retaliatory effects. |

PYRONEX
Pyronex is a CSS developed and manufactured deflagrating pyrotechnic system, ideal for situations when noise, or vibration must be avoided. Pyronex provides a safer alternative to using high explosives for smaller applications in quarrying and demolition. Pyronex burns at a slower relative velocity than standard explosive products, generating gases which cause a splitting of rock and concrete along the natural areas of weakness in the material to be broken. |
