Pyronex
Pyronex is a CSS developed and manufactured deflagrating pyrotechnic system, ideal for situations when noise, fly rock or vibration must be minimised.
Pyronex provides a safer alternative to using high explosives for smaller applications in quarrying and demolition. Pyronex burns at a slower relative velocity than standard explosive products, generating gases which cause a splitting of rock and concrete along the natural areas of weakness in the material to be broken.
3 differing sizes are available; 25grams (CS9021), 75grams (CS9022) and 150grams (CS9023).

Description of Item: The stores consist of a water resistant, biodegradable cardboard tube containing an electric igniter and a nominal amount (differs with each size) of pyrotechnic composition. All sizes have 2 metre leadwires.
