WANO SAFETY FUSES
Safety Fuses consist of a core of fine grained Black Powder surrounded by a flexible woven fabric and one or more protective coverings. WANO impregnate the raw fuse with a bitumen layer and also coat them with coloured plastics. The fuses are water-repellant or waterproof and have an outer diameter of approximately 5.0mm. They burn with invisible flame and are especially designed for both civil and military applications. Safety Fuse is available in 160m rolls with a standard burning duration of 100 seconds (+/-) 10 seconds per meter. |

WANO FIREWORKS FUSES
WANO's Fireworks Fuses are used to ignite pyrotechnic ignition sequences or rockets and fireworks. In military pyrotechnics they are used as time delays. Fireworks Fuses are very similar to normal Black Powder fuses with regards to their construction and burning behaviour. The spin-braided powder cores are coated with special glues to provide them with strength and stiffness. These Fireworks Fuses are delivered in pre-cut lengths according to the demanded time delay, however CSS have the capability to cut the lengths to the customers requirement. They burn smoothly and safely. Precise composition variation of the fuse powder ensures exact burning durations. WANO Fireworks Fuses are available in all commercial diameters. Some types can be supplied with a waterproof finish. For military applications, WANO fulfill the high standards and requirements of the Technical Specifications (TL) of the Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement (BWB), as well as various national and international standards making WANO a reliable and sought after supplier to the Defense industry. |

WANO IGNITER CORDS
WANO igniter cords are especially designed as a flame propagating medium for ignition of large displays of fireworks, but have numerous other applications. They consist of a core of special Black Powder with textile spun-coatings. Plastic film and glue provide impregnation for protection in conditions of light humidity. A particular characteristic of WANO's Igniter Cords is an integrated fine metal wire which reinforces the cord and makes it easier to bend, twist and shape. This ensures a secure attachment to any structure. The small diameter of only 3.0mm makes it easy to integrate into set pieces. Igniter Cords burn with open flame and at a much higher burning speed than Fireworks and Safety Fuses. They are manufactured in coils of 8m length. Two types are available with different burning durations and are colour coded. Colour coding permits them to be easily identified.
